About Me!

Taking a picture of Max, a wolf at an animal reserve in Washington State.
I'm Gabrielle and I'm passionate about art, communication, and the human experience. I have 10 years of teaching and design experience with an innate user experience philosophy that’s followed me wherever I go. It's always been my mission to make people's lives easier and more enjoyable by making the world more efficient and fun. With User Centered Design, I get to extend that passion into the workplace.

My experiences teaching adults, directing theatre, and starting my own businesses have given me skills that are crucial in the usability design industry. As a teacher, I have endless empathy for my students and how to communicate best with them. As a director, I’m constantly flexing my vision to the endless variables and constant feedback that go into every production. And, as an entrepreneur, I’m used to understanding the big picture, taking initiative, and looking for unique solutions, even if they come from someone other than myself.

In addition to UX Research, I also love Teaching, Theatre, Floral Design, Leading my Youth Group, Ballroom Dancing, and dog training, among too many other things. I love flowers so much, I even make flower arrangements for weddings and other events in my spare time! Check out my floral website, Thorn & Thistle.

Besides having too many hobbies and side hustles, I'm also obsessed with having fun! After getting work done, laughing is my second priority to every workday. As proof, I have provided photographic evidence below for your convenience. Enjoy.
